April 2026 Student Lecture Series
Join us as we explore the scientific properties and artistic possibilities of East Tennessee soil. UT Gardens Intern and Soil Sciences student Mandy Boggs will teach us the essentials of soil science for home gardens, including texture, structure, and classification. We’ll also try soil painting with materials from the UT Gardens and UT Compost facility.
